As a student embarking on my first semester, I was filled with a mix of nerves, curiosity, and excitement. Pursuing a Bachelor's in Technology with a specialization in Computer Science and Business Systems, I anticipated a heavier focus on technical subjects. However, to my surprise, my first lecture was on BCVS-1 (Business Communication and Value Science). It was a moment of instant connection; I found myself captivated by the subject from the get-go. Credit goes to our incredible professor, Dr. MB Shinde, whose passion and expertise made us students fall head over heels for the subject matter.

I still remember my first lab session when we had to introduce ourselves in front of our classmates. I found it hard because I wasn't confident on stage and wasn't good at speaking English. But as time went on, we did different activities like giving prepared speeches, talking on random topics without preparation, and making presentations. These activities helped me feel more confident. I also learned about 93% of nonverbal communication, something I didn't know about before. We learned the theory in class and practiced it during lab sessions. In the "Communication in Business Context" module, we learned about how communication works in companies and organizations. The course taught us to improve our listening, speaking, and thinking skills so we can communicate better. We also learned about common communication mistakes and why active listening is important. We learned about different levels of communication and both verbal and nonverbal communication. The course also taught us different letter formats, like the 7 C's of letter writing, which I didn't know before. Learning how to write business letters will be useful for me in the future. For a project, we had to make a poster presentation about the values of our favorite sports captain. I chose Rohit Sharma and talked about his skills and values to learn life lessons from him. We also gave a presentation about NGOs. I think we did this to understand the skills and values these organizations have. After second sem i we gives mock interviews and also practise grouped disscussion

Sacrifice and hard work, Pursuit of dreams, Positive mindset, Importance of fatherhood, Empathy and kindness, Appreciation for small victories. The Pursuit of Happyness is an inspiring story. It is a reminder that anything is possible if you set your mind to it.

CONCLUSION

Studying business communication and value creation helps us understand how to improve our communication strategies. We learn important things like being clear, listening actively, adjusting to our audience, building relationships, giving and receiving feedback, using technology wisely, understanding non-verbal cues, being aware of different cultures, communicating with purpose, and measuring our success. When organizations use these strategies, they can work together better, build stronger connections, and be more successful in today's competitive business world.
